Experience: Toby began his career specializing in corporate finance, governmental finance and mergers and acquisitions. He was a partner at Jenkins & Gilchrest and later at the firm of Hutchinson, Price, Boyle & Brooks. His corporate and governmental clients have included the Dallas Cowboys and their owners, DCURD and various other municipalities and municipal agencies in and around the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex. Following Dissolution of Hutchison, Price, Boyle & Brooks, Toby served as counsel for the Chapter 13 Trustee’s office during Molly’s tenure as Trustee, as in-house counsel for Southwest Securities and as counsel for a private investors whose business included the acquisition and sale of smaller hospitals. In 2001, Toby and Molly formed Bartholow & Bartholow with the goal of establishing a uniquely client-centered bankruptcy law practice. In furtherance of that goal, Toby consults personally with every new client, advising each on the legal and practical issues that arise in connection with the decision to file bankruptcy. Volunteer
& Community Involvement: Honduras Mission (Sponsored by the Church of Incarnation in association with the Episcopal Diocese of Honduras) – A program helping impoverished communities in Honduras to become economically and environmentally able to meet their populations’ basic human needs by providing medical supplies and treatment, digging wells for a clean water supply, supplying schools, teaching agricultural methods, etc. Molly and Toby both have donated their time, skills and money in support of the Honduras Mission. The Stephen Ministry at the Church of the Incarnation – Toby has served as a volunteer counselor for this program, which offers anonymous counseling for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one, going through a divorce (or recovering from one), and those who are feeling distressed due to some other kind of life crisis.
